Become a Egg Donor

When a woman cannot conceive with her own eggs, she can receive eggs from another woman to have a baby. Usually, women between the age of 21 and 34 can become egg donors and donors are evaluated for illnesses and infections like Hepatitis B & C, HIV, syphilis, gonorrhoea, and chlamydia. The donor’s mental health, history, and ethnic background are also checked before receiving the eggs.

The received eggs are carefully evaluated by an embryologist and then transferred into the uterus along with the sperm collected from the partner of the recipient. This is known as in-vitro fertilization (IVF)
